Refund Policy

1. The 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We want you to be satisfied with Briefing Fox. If the Premium features do not meet your expectations, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial subscription purchase.
2. Eligibility & Fair Use (Anti-Abuse)
To protect the integrity of our service and prevent abuse of our AI resources (which cost us money to operate), the following Fair Use conditions apply:
- Usage Limit: You are eligible for a refund if you have used the service to test its functionality but have not excessively consumed AI resources. We reserve the right to decline a refund if you have generated more than 100 prompts during the 14-day trial period.
- First-Time Only: This guarantee applies only to your first subscription. If you cancel, receive a refund, and later re-subscribe, you will not be eligible for another refund.
- ToS Violations: Users who have their accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service (e.g., botting, scraping, or abuse) are not eligible for a refund.
3. How to Request a Refund
Since Paddle is our Merchant of Record, they handle the financial transaction, but we approve the refund request.
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Email Us: Send a request to refunds@briefingfox.com with the subject line “Refund Request”.
- Details: Please include your Order ID (found in the email receipt from Paddle) and the email address used for the purchase.
- Reason (Optional): We appreciate feedback on why the tool didn’t work for you, though this is not mandatory for approval.
Please allow up to 48 hours for us to review your usage and process the request.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be granted in the following scenarios:
- After 14 Days: Requests made after the 14-day window has passed.
- Renewals: We do not refund automatic monthly renewals. You are responsible for canceling your subscription before the next billing cycle.
- Technical Limitations: Failure to use the software due to your own hardware limitations or lack of internet connection.
5. Chargebacks and Disputes
Please contact us first if you have an issue. If you file a dispute or chargeback with your bank or credit card company without contacting us first:
- Your account and access to Briefing Fox will be permanently suspended.
- We will submit your usage logs and this policy to the payment processor as evidence that the service was delivered as described.
6. Processing Time
Once approved, Paddle processes the refund immediately. However, it may take 5–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
